25.12.2018 / December, 2018: Is the 4th NAP more ambitious?
On November 15 2018 the RA Government approved the OGP 4th NAP and 6 out of 11 commitments are the proposals which were delivered by NGOs and International Organizations.
30.09.2018 / September, 2018: Co-creation of the 4th National Action Plan
A joint workshop with Government and CSO representatives to co-create new OGP commitments for the 4th Action Plan was held on 18-19 September in Aghveran. The event was organized by the Freedom of Information Center in cooperation with the RA Government within the “Promoting Open Government Partnership in Armenia” Project supported by the OGP support Unit and Tides Center.
31.07.2018 / July, 2018: Armenian delegation took part in OGP Global Summit
Bringing together over 200 participants from 12 parliaments and 24 countries, putting people first and transforming the governance systems based on the principles of openness, accountability and engagement was the focus of the Fifth Open Government Partnership (OGP) Global Summit held in Georgia on 17-19 July 2018.
30.08.2016 / August, 2016: Armenia uses “Crowd-sourcing” to design OGP NAP
This is for the first time that Armenia uses “Crowd-sourcing” to design a government action plan. This is why we have initiated a series of public outreach meetings both in the regions and in the capital city to highlight the priorities and to clarify the submission process.
25.11.2015 / November, 2015: Armenia won the Top Award of the 2nd Annual OGP International Awards
Armenia won the Top Award of the 2nd Annual OGP International Awards for 2015 in Mexico City, October 27-29, 2015. Armenia came up with the ״Smart Municipality” initiative and a first-time participant received a high award, winning first place and receiving the so-called Regional Champion title in the region (Asia-Pacific).
